Hello!
The Boulder Creek Festival is coming up next weekend. RMAD and HEALTH still needs volunteers, so please help if you can! Email Donna (donnam@rmad.org) if you can help with the RMAD table and Ann (anns@rmad.org) if you can help at the HEALTH Table.
Donna says: The weather for the Creek Festival has a bright forecast! If you want to spend some time in the sun and you enjoy talking to people and educating them, please help us by tabling for the RMAD booth Memorial Weekend! We REALLY need people to come out to help and support our cause! Saturday, Sunday, and Monday afternoons are the times we need help the most.
Ann says: Please let me know if you will work the Boulder Creek Festival on Saturday 27 May. I will set up and tear down. I really need several people from 10 AM to 7 PM. I have the fur demo at 11:30 and a (vegan) wedding at 4 (where I'm doing the cake). There will be only literature, NO SELLING REQUIRED. It will be really easy and it's fun. PLEASE let me know if you can take a shift that day, and for how long. If you know me, you know I hate to miss any of the festival and I don't often ask for or need help for a whole day, BUT sometimes stuff happens. Thanks so much.
The prairie wildlife coalition, led by RMAD, is on a roll and prepared to take on Boulder’s Urban Wildlife Management Plan. Judging from this week’s phone calls, citizens are both livid at the sudden turn the City Council has taken, but very thankful that we’re here to address the situation. Stay tuned as this issue continues to unfold.
Every Creature Counts has a great animal-oriented job opportunity! See the description, posted below the calendar. Please be aware that the term “no kill” is ECC’s description, not RMAD’s.
