Friends:

If you were not able to make our hugely successful holiday party and would like to enter our monthly donor drawing for a weekend at Denver’s Oxford Hotel and dinner for two at Watercourse Foods, it’s not too late! We are accepting new monthly donors until December 31st, and for every $5 you pledge per month (minimum one-year commitment), you will receive an entry into the drawing. If you are already a donor and wish to increase your donation, you will likewise receive an entry for every five dollars you pledge. If you have signed up to be a monthly donor in the last month, you are automatically entered in the drawing. Contact Chris at
chrisj@rmad.org to sign up.

RMAD is fighting prairie dog killers on various fronts in Boulder. Developers continue to bulldoze and poison animals within Boulder city and county, both legally and illegally. RMAD has fielded numerous phone calls from the public, including yesterday’s calls about the poisoning of animals at the Boulder/Longmont border on Foothills Highway. A rule of thumb for developers: if you’re going to drop a building in the center of a prairie, make sure you understand that the residents were there thousands of years before you.

RMAD is growing by leaps and bounds, and is quickly outgrowing its tiny office. We’re hoping to find a new, larger space in Boulder to accommodate our needs. Our budget is modest, in the $350-600 range, depending on amenities such as high-speed internet access, conference room, vegan-friendly kitchen. If you have any leads or can refer us to a realtor who wants to help Colorado’s leading advocates continue their work, please contact Chris at
chrisj@rmad.org.

Just a reminder: if you ever miss a Weekly Announcement, you can check out our archive at
www.rmadblog.blogspot.com. It is archived every week.

Finish your holiday shopping online and support RMAD at the same time!
